Photos from our UK 2003 Tour
In the 'The Band and Crew' section have a look at the band on and 'backstage" as well as the crew that worked way too many hours to make our show happen. There are also photos of friends and 'Funstars' we met along the way. Enjoy!
During our 6 week tour of the UK we took literally thousands of pictures. Armed with digital cameras we managed to capture over 2 gigabytes of images! Because of limitations of space on my server I have tried to share only some of the more interesting photos. Of course what may be "interesting" is open for debate. But none the less here we go....
Alton was quite handy with his camera at performances, and being the people person that he is, took lots of photos of those attending our shows. Those pictures and more can be found in his own special section called 'Alton's photos'.
We traveled the UK in a custom tour bus. It was our 'home' while away from home. Because we traveled mostly at night, we would wake up parked at the next performance venue. The bus would draw a lot of attention from curious people walking by. Some would be bold enough to come to the door and poke their heads inside. So the idea was born to take their picture at the doorway...hence the 'Visitors to our tour bus' section.
The UK is an amazing and never-ending panorama of breathtaking landscapes. Even though we stayed mostly along the coastlines of England, Wales, and (too briefly) Scotland we still had lots of opportunities to see many interesting things. Regretably, it is very difficult to capture the rolling green hills and mountainsides of Wales or the towering architecture of London in a photograph. It is simply too vast for the camera's lens. Please enjoy the photos in the section called 'Scenes from the UK', but definitely seize any opportunity to see the UK through your own eyes!
